“The Commissioner for Survivors of Institutional Childhood Abuse has launched a public consultation on the Office’s draft Equality Scheme 2020-2025. The Commissioner is committed to effective consultation and confirms continued compliance with statutory duties, to have due regard to the need to promote equality of opportunity and promoting good relations, under Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998.
To facilitate feedback on the draft document therefore our consultation period will run for 12 weeks, from 22 May 2024 – 14 August 2024.
