Commissioner for Survivors of Institutional Childhood Abuse, Fiona Ryan, would like to thank victims and survivors for their valuable contributions to her Office’s consultation on services.
The Office of the Commissioner has been seeking views from victims and survivors of non-recent/historical institutional childhood abuse in Northern Ireland in relation to their experiences of services and supports.
The consultation has now closed, and the Office of the Commissioner will bring together the findings into a report which will be published in early 2025.
By hearing directly from victims and survivors about their hopes and concerns for the future, the Commissioner will be able to bring these views to service providers and start important conversations about how best to support victims and survivors in the future.
